At Building First Nations, our team members come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, but we are united by our dedication to making a difference. We strive to bring creativity, innovation, and a strong work ethic to everything we do, ensuring that our projects make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.


Phil Lasarsky

Principal & CEO

Phil Lasarsky is the Principal in charge and CEO at Building First Nations. He holds a BS in HS Engineering from the University of Tulsa and an MAJS from the Spertus Institute. With over 40 years of experience in the design and construction of complex, highly regulated processing facilities, Phil is an expert in process development, complex project execution, and business management. His work has encompassed highly regulated (FDA, EPA) and technology-driven projects in the biopharma, medical device, specialty, and petrochemical industries.

Phil loves what he does and is dedicated to achieving excellence in every project he undertakes. His passion for his work drives him to continuously innovate and deliver exceptional results for his clients and partners. Phil’s extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable leader in the construction industry.


Clay Graham

Chief Operations Officer

Clay Graham, a graduate of OSU’s Business Entrepreneurship program and a Navy Seabees veteran with 21 years of service, has been an integral part of Building First Nations for over 2 years. He holds a healthcare constructor certificate, OSHA 30 certification, and is a Union Carpenter. With over 40 years of construction experience, Clay is dedicated to mentoring and nurturing the next generation.

Outside of work, he finds solace in outdoor activities like hiking, hunting, and fishing, and cherishes time spent with his family.

Clay is enthusiastic about growing the business, meeting with clients, and helping them achieve their goals.


Ryan Lasarsky

Director of Operations

Ryan, a proud member of the Cherokee tribe, joined BFN in January 2021. He holds an MS in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Oklahoma State University, along with PMP and OSHA-30 certifications.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, embarking on outdoor adventures, traveling, and indulging in his passions for football and drag racing. He also enjoys woodworking, metalworking, and tinkering with old cars.

Ryan thrives on meeting new people and eagerly taking on fresh projects.


Eric Taylor

Senior Project Manager

Eric Taylor has been with Building First Nations for almost 1 year, leveraging over 40 years of experience in the construction and development industry. He holds a BA in Construction Management from DePaul University and is LEED certified for his “Green Building” work on commercial properties.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys a range of indoor and outdoor activities with friends and family, including reading the Bible, riding motorcycles, off-roading, building cars/trucks, remodeling homes, boating, hiking, and hunting.

Eric is excited to take on new projects and continue making a positive impact in his industry.


Bryon Dejarnette

General Superintendent

Bryon started at Building First Nations in May 2023, bringing over 25 years of construction experience and an AA degree in Drafting and Mechanical Design. He holds OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications, as well as  AED, CPR, and FIRST AID. He also holds a Home Inspector certificate.

Outside of work, Bryon enjoys camping, woodworking, and reading.

Bryon finds joy overseeing the completion of a home that was built by his team for a grateful client.


Nick Davenport

Superintendent

Nick Davenport, a veteran of the United States Army, has been a valuable member of Building First Nations for just under a year. With nearly 40 years of supervisory experience in construction, Nick brings a wealth of expertise to the table. From small-scale to large-scale projects, he understands the intricacies required for successful execution and is adept at thinking outside the box to tackle challenges head-on.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Nick finds joy in spending time with his grandchildren, coin collecting, and cheering on OSU sports teams. He also enjoys traveling with his spouse.

Eager to take on any project, Nick’s enthusiasm and dedication ensure excellence in every task.


Ashley Graham

Business Development Specialist

Ashley, who joined BFN in November 2023, is a University of Iowa grad with a BBA in Marketing and a strong statistical background. Growing up in the construction world, she brings a unique perspective to our business.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ashley is an outdoor enthusiast, often found hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking. She also loves to explore new creative outlets, but she has a passion for photography, dance, and guitar.
